Hawks Sign Former D-Leaguer Thompson to Second 10-Day Contract

ATLANTA, Jan. 16, 2007 -- The Atlanta Hawks today signed forward Dijon Thompson, a former D-League player with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds, to a second 10-day contract, according to Hawks Executive Vice President/General Manager Billy Knight.

A second-year pro, Thompson has averaged 6.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg and 1.0 apg in 12.0 mpg (.556 FG%, 3-3 FTs) in two contests for the Hawks. He signed his first 10-day deal on January 6.
